UKCA/CE Marking

JES Ltd personnel have over 25 years experience of CE Marking a wide range of machinery and equipment.

With over 170 Technical Files compiled and completed, JES Ltd work with the machine builder and customer to ensure that the Machinery Directive is met and compliance with BS/EN harmonised standards.

Now that the UK is in a transition period having left the EU, CE Marking is being replaced by UKCA Marking.

From 1st January 2022 new machinery entering and being used in the UK will be required to comply and carry the new UKCA Mark.

The Market Surveillance Regulation will continue to be used and implemented with this transition:

All machinery and equipment entering the UK must have an agent or representative in the UK, hence JES Ltd can interface with the Japanese manufacturers to act on their behalf in the UK.
